The old town Albocácer, is built on a hill in the region of Alto Maestrazgo. The history of the neighborhood is rooted way back, as evidenced by the cave paintings of Barranco de la Valltorta, the World Heritage. More on this elsewhere on the site. The basis of the old city is formed by the Templar castle built in 1294. At the central square at the top of the village stands the 17th century parish church.

- La Casa de Baltasar Pastor also from the 17th century in the Calle Mayor, No. 31,

There are several hiking trails that connect Albocacer, for example:
- The Monte Gordo with a length of 3.5 km the shortest,
- Mas de la Semola, 15 km
- Barranc de la Valltorta, 14 Kilometer
- Mas de la Calza, length 10 Kilometers
